Thank you again for speaking with me about the Director of Operations position at ABC Elementary School. After hearing from you about the attention to detail and the multitasking skills that are essential for the job, I am more confident than ever that I am an ideal candidate.

I understand that the position requires extensive knowledge of SIS and Oracle-Based FMPS, two programs with which I am not yet familiar. However, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to learn new tasks and new technologies quickly and efficiently. For example, as an editorial assistant at XYZ College, I mastered WordPress after only a brief seminar. Within two months, I was running the WordPress seminars for incoming editorial interns.

You stated that the start date of the position is in two months. Since our interview, I have signed up for and begun to attend a four-week course on how to use both SIS and FMPS. I have already made great strides in my fluency with these programs. By the time of staff orientation, I will be extremely well versed in these programs.
