Delhi Transport Department – The Delhi Government has announced financial assistance of RS. 5000 to the public service drivers who are facing a financial crisis due to the lockdown. According to the announcement made by the Delhi government, Rs 5–5 thousand will be sent to the PSV (Public Service Vehicles) drivers in their bank account. For this eligible driver have to online apply & registration under Delhi driver corona help Yojana (Yojna) at Transport.delhi.gov.in.
The government says that the benefit of Delhi Driver Corona help Yojana financial assistance will be given only to those running public service vehicles whose bank account is linked to their Aadhar card. To get financial help, the eligible beneficiary will have to apply online between 13 April to 27 April 2020. The government has created a page for receiving the online form. The online registration link has been given on the website of Delhi Transport Department as we as on this page.

In order to get this assistance amount Rs. 5000 given by the government.it is mandatory for the drivers to provide the PSV badge number, driving license number, date of birth, mobile number, gender and Aadhaar number associated with the bank account while filling the online form.
Only those people who have received the badge (public badge) of the public service vehicle by 23 March 2020 will get the benefit of this financial help of Delhi government.
Its beneficiaries are auto-rickshaw, taxi, rural service, rural service, Fatfat service, maxi cab, eco-friendly services, e-rickshaws and school cabs etc. For this, eligible drivers will have to apply online by visiting the website of the Delhi Transport Department.
